Adapter sleeve bearing installation specifications,
1. The purpose of using an adapter sleeve is to facilitate installation and maintenance. The internal clearance of the bearing can be adjusted by the degree of locking, and the shaft processing requirements are not very high.
2. When installing a bearing with an adapter sleeve, it is most important to measure the internal clearance of the bearing in time.
3. According to the rotation of the load acting on the adapter sleeve relative to the ferrule, there are three types of loads on the adapter ferrule: local load, cyclic load, and swing load. Normally, cyclic load (rotary load) and swing load adopt tight fit.
4. Except for special requirements on local load, tight fit is generally not suitable. When the adapter ring is under a dynamic load and the load is heavy, the inner and outer rings should use an interference fit, but sometimes the outer ring can be loosened slightly, and it should be able to move axially in the housing hole of the adapter ring
When the adapter ferrule bears the swing load and the load is light, a looser fit than the tight fit can be used,
1. Gently place the bearing on the sleeve or shaft seat.
2. Put on nuts and tighten by hand until the bearing (or sleeve) cannot move in the axial direction or rotate on the shaft.
3. Put the nut (slope facing the bearing) on the shaft.
4. Use the supporting wrench to pull the nut according to the correct rotation angle specified on the corresponding figure.
5. After the bearing has been pushed into place, turn the wrench 180 degrees and tap lightly to remove the tilt of the inner ring during installation.
6. Remove the nut, insert the lock washer instead of the nut, and tighten by hand.
7. Find the closest matching locking piece and tighten the washer until the locking piece is flush with the nut groove. Use a punch to level the lock washer plate along the lock nut slot.
