Material Description

Stainless steel rebars contain at least 12% chromium and 8-12% nickel, providing exceptional durability and corrosion resistance.

Austenitic Stainless Steel Rebar
Austenitic steel contains approximately 7% nickel, making it highly weldable and malleable with excellent corrosion resistance. With 16% chromium and 2-3% molybdenum, it resists chloride corrosion in harsh environments. Nitrogen content enhances tensile strength and yield. These nonmagnetic bars offer high ductility and wide service temperature range, making them ideal for industrial piping and architectural reinforcement.
Duplex Stainless Steel Rebar
Combining ferritic and austenitic steels, duplex stainless steel offers superior strength and exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly in saltwater environments. With lower nickel content than austenitic steel, it provides cost-effective solutions for bridge decks, retaining walls, chemical plants, coastal structures, and various construction applications.
Properties of Stainless Steel Rebars
High Strength Steel
Contains 10% chromium for increased hardness and tensile strength, with nickel maintaining ductility and toughness. Duplex steel bars offer superior strength.
Corrosion Resistance
Chromium forms a protective oxide layer that withstands chloride corrosion from road salts, seawater, and concrete. Austenitic steel provides optimal corrosion resistance.
Ductility
Nickel content ensures excellent ductility, making these rebars suitable for earthquake zones, cold applications, and bridge construction.
Magnetic Response
High nickel content eliminates magnetic permeability, enabling use in applications where carbon steel is unsuitable.
Fire Resistance
