This all-in-one design dramatically simplifies machine architecture by eliminating the need for separate components, reducing cabinet space, and minimizing complex wiring.
Engineered for applications requiring precise positioning and reliable operation, this Lexium 62 drive+motor offers the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of a stepper motor with enhanced performance features typically associated with servos. The closed-loop control, enabled by the integrated encoder, ensures high accuracy, provides higher torque across the speed range compared to open-loop steppers, and prevents lost steps by actively monitoring and correcting the motor's position. It is an ideal solution for a wide range of automated motion tasks in packaging, material handling, assembly, and medical equipment. Its configuration and tuning are effortlessly managed through Schneider Electric's dedicated SoMove software.
