SRT2-OD08-1 Omron SRT2 Series CompoBus/S Remote I/O Output Terminal
The Omron SRT2-OD08-1 is a compact and efficient Remote I/O Output Terminal from the SRT2 series, designed specifically for use with the CompoBus/S open network. It serves as a decentralized I/O solution, allowing engineers to save significant wiring time and space by placing I/O points closer to sensors and actuators. This model features 8 solid-state output channels with PNP (Source) logic, making it ideal for controlling loads that require a positive voltage switch. It is a robust solution for high-speed machine control and is built to withstand harsh industrial environments.
Important Note: According to official Omron documentation, the SRT2-ID/OD series (including this model) has been discontinued (production ended December 2022). It is recommended to check for successor series like the CRT1 or other compatible remote I/O solutions for new designs.
