The GE IS200SPROH1ABC it is part of Mark VIe control system. The Emergency Protection (SPRO) terminal board is designed to interface with either a PPRO (Primary Protection) or YPRO (Backup Protection) I/O pack. The SPRO terminal board conditions the incoming speed signal inputs for these I/O packs, ensuring that the control system can accurately monitor the turbine's speed.
The product function it to facilitate communication with the backup trip protection system, the SPRO terminal board includes a DC-37 pin connector. This connector is located next to the PPRO or YPRO I/O pack connector and is used to connect a cable leading to a backup trip relay terminal board. This configuration allows for an additional layer of protection, ensuring that if the primary system fails, the backup system can still initiate a trip to protect the turbine.
