Green Silicon Carbide 125mm Flap Disc for R-angle polishing wheel curved surface grinding disc OEM
Flap discs are manufactured by cutting large rolls of abrasive cloth into small segments and arranging them in a fan-shaped pattern on the backing pad. Typically, the abrasive cloth side is applied for workpiece grinding, boasting high structural strength, excellent heat dissipation, optimal air circulation and anti-clogging performance. Widely used in welding grinding and polishing, auto maintenance, as well as stone processing and construction industries.
Specifically designed for aesthetic finishing needs, our full-edge wrapped flap discs target those hard-to-clean weld seams left at right-angle joints— the tight, narrow seams clinging to both adjacent surfaces. Unlike regular flap discs, it utilizes its edge to grind and polish weld seams, delivering a smooth, neat and professional finish.
Made of premium green silicon carbide, this flap disc offers slightly less performance than blue zirconia alumina variants, yet it outshines in higher production capacity and more competitive pricing. Available in various grit sizes, it caters to both heavy stock removal and fine finishing requirements. The fiberglass backing features superior flexibility and elasticity, paired with excellent air circulation for stable grinding. For customized demands, rigid plastic backing pads are also optional.
