This 100mm 80 grit zirconia alumina flap disc is specially formulated for stainless steel work. The fine-medium grain produces a bright, oxide-free finish while the cool cutting zirconia grain prevents heat tint and blueing, preserving the corrosion resistance of stainless surfaces.

FAQ
Why does my flap disc leave blue marks on stainless steel?
Blueing is caused by excessive heat from heavy pressure. Our 80 grit zirconia disc cuts cooler, but always use moderate pressure and let the disc do the work.
Is this disc safe for use on aluminum?
For aluminum we recommend our dedicated anti-loading 100 grit disc (JD-FD100-100ZA) to prevent clogging.
