NF701 Fiber Optic Gyroscope North Finder is a compact, high-precision north-seeking system that determines true north autonomously without GNSS. It measures the Earth’s rotation rate through a fiber optic gyroscope and computes azimuth and attitude information for mobile platforms.
Featuring north-seeking accuracy of ≤0.3° (1σ), alignment time under 3 minutes, and RS-422 interface, it integrates a FOG, accelerometer, rotation servo, and embedded controller.
The system operates reliably across -40 °C to +70 °C and is suitable for surveying, drilling, and defense applications requiring rapid, magnetic-independent north reference.
