The CG15-8L12 is a compact industrial infrared safety light curtain designed for high-speed doors, garage doors, loading dock doors, roller shutter doors, cold storage doors and other automatic industrial door systems.
The system consists of a transmitter and receiver working together to create an infrared protection grid across the door opening. When a person, vehicle or obstacle interrupts the detection area, the sensor provides a relay signal to the connected door controller.
With an overall sensor length of approximately 1500 mm, 8 infrared beams, a working distance of up to 12 meters, and an IP67 fully protected housing, the CG15-8L12 is designed for reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
The sensor uses 8 infrared detection beams to create a protection zone across automatic door openings.
The approximately 1500mm sensor body is suitable for industrial and commercial door installations requiring extended vertical safety coverage.
The transmitter and receiver support a working distance of up to 12 meters, providing flexibility for wide door openings.
The sensor supports Normal Mode and Concealing Mode, allowing specific beam interruption behavior to be adapted to industrial door applications where the moving door structure may enter the detection area.
The sealed sensor housing provides IP67 protection, making the product suitable for dusty, humid and demanding industrial environments.
A response time of approximately 30 ms enables rapid obstacle detection for high-speed automatic door safety applications.
