The RVP42-7BW is a high-performance motion radar developed by Shenzhen JUTAI COMM CO., LTD. Specifically designed for industrial door systems, garage doors, cold storage doors, and barriers, this sensor offers reliable detection of both vehicles and pedestrians. The RVP42-7BW comes with Bluetooth functionality, allowing users to conveniently adjust the radar settings via a mobile app. It is equipped with advanced filtering technology, enabling it to distinguish and ignore laterally moving objects, ensuring optimal performance in various environments.
Appearance and Dimensions
This radar features a robust grey anodized aluminum and polycarbonate housing. The sensor's dimensions (including the bracket) are 164mm x 111mm x 94.5mm, with a total weight of 630g. Its compact design makes it suitable for installation in a wide range of locations.
Wiring and Installation
Power Supply: Operating voltage is 12 - 36VDC, with a current draw of less than 100mA. The power cables are color-coded for easy identification: black for ±12 - 36VDC, and red for +12 - 36VDC.
Relay Output: The default relay output is NO (NC). The yellow wire is for relay 1 COM, and the green wire is for relay 1 NO. The status of the relay is indicated by a green LED light.
Installation Guidelines: To ensure accurate performance, the sensor must be securely mounted on a flat, stable surface, away from any obstructions (such as banners or plants) that may interfere with the detection area. Avoid placing the sensor near fluorescent lights or metal objects, as they may disrupt its operation.
Installation Height: The RVP42-7BW can be installed at heights ranging from 2 meters to 7 meters, allowing flexibility in different applications.

Remote Control Operation
This radar sensor can also be powered on using the provided remote control. Simply press and hold the START button until it illuminates, indicating the sensor is powered on. In cases where the START button flashes, users should long-press it to turn off the sensor, reinstall the battery, and restart the process. The remote control is effective for the first 30 minutes after the radar is powered on. If more than 30 minutes have passed, the radar will need to be powered off and on again to enable the remote control functionality.
