The 7-inch 16mm plastic reel is designed for winding 16mm carrier tape used in SMD electronic component packaging. With a compact reel diameter and a dedicated width configuration, it provides an organized way to store, transport and feed carrier tape throughout the electronics manufacturing process.
A reel is more than a simple storage spool.
