Product Overview
The Festo LRLL-1/4-QS-10 is a one-way flow control valve (meter-out type) from the LRLL series, used to regulate the exhaust (return) flow from a double-acting pneumatic cylinder to control retraction speed. It features a G1/4" female threaded port for inline installation and a QS-10 push-in connector for 10 mm outside-diameter nylon/PU tubing. The valve allows full free-flow in the reverse direction and adjustable throttling in the metered direction via a knurled knob with lock nut.

Meter-Out (Exhaust) Throttle: Installed on the cylinder exhaust port — controls rod speed without causing cylinder judder/stick-slip common with meter-in throttling on double-acting cylinders.
Push-In Tube Release: Quick-connect/disconnect for Ø10 mm tubing — simply push tube in; lift collet to remove. No tools for tubing.
Lockable Adjustment: Knurled knob with integrated lock nut secures the flow setting against vibration.
Free-Flow Check: Unrestricted reverse flow ensures no back-pressure builds on the supply side of the cylinder.

Cylinder Speed Control: Regulating extend or retract speed of double-acting cylinders (typically meter-out on both ports for independent control).
Conveyor & Packaging Machines: Fine-tuning actuator velocity on pick-place heads, pushers, and clamps.
Retrofit / OEM: Direct screw-in replacement on ISO 6432 / ISO 15552 cylinder exhaust ports with G1/4 threads.
Note: For meter-in (supply side throttling), use the GRLL series (opposite flow direction). For other tube sizes: QS-6 (Ø6 mm), QS-8 (Ø8 mm), QS-12 (Ø12 mm) are also available in the LRLL-1/4-QS-x family. Always install meter-out for best double-acting cylinder performance unless application specifically requires meter-in.
