The Banner LT3 Series (also known as L-GAGE® LT3) is a family of laser distance measurement sensors utilizing time-of-flight (TOF) technology. These sensors are designed for precise position detection, level monitoring, and object gauging in industrial automation. The series includes both diffuse-mode models (0.3–5 m range) and retroreflective models (0.5–50 m range), offering a combination of analog (4-20 mA / 0-10 V) and discrete (NPN/PNP) outputs for flexible integration into control systems.
Long-Range Detection: Retroreflective models offer reliable sensing up to 50 meters, ideal for crane positioning and large-scale bin level detection.
Dual Output Flexibility: Most models provide simultaneous analog (for distance value) and discrete (for threshold switching) outputs, reducing the need for multiple sensors.
Easy Setup: TEACH-mode programming allows quick configuration of sensing windows and hysteresis via a front button or remote input, eliminating the need for potentiometers.
