The Leuze FT328.34P-M12 (often listed as FT 328.34P-M12) is a thru-beam fork-type photoelectric sensor from the FT 328 series, designed for precise detection of small parts, labels, punches, or web edges in a fixed mechanical gap. It features a 30 mm fork opening (gap), PNP push-pull output (NO/NC selectable), and an M12 4-pin connector. The emitter and receiver are permanently aligned inside the U-shaped fork — no alignment or adjustment is required, making it ideal for high-speed registration mark and label detection on packaging lines.

Compact 30mm Gap: Accommodates labels on backing paper, small parts, or wire passing through the slot — also usable for double-sheet detection in feeder stations.
M12 Standard Interface: 4-pin A-coded connector matches common sensor cabling — simplifies spare parts and replacement.
Applications
Label Detection: Sensing clear/opaque labels on a carrier web (transparent backing) by detecting the label's opacity difference from the liner.
Registration Mark Reading: Detecting printed eye-mark or notch on film/web for cut-to-length or print-registration.
Small Part Verification: Confirming a tiny component has dropped into a nest or passed through a chute.
Double-Sheet Detection: Detecting if one or two sheets have been picked from a stack in feeder/collator machines.
