Yokogawa Electric Group was founded in 1915 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It is a professional multinational company in the industrial control industry and has 128 companies in 62 countries and regions. In 1975, the important distributed control system (DCS system) was developed, and 10 generations of CENTUM DCS series products have been launched so far. In 1991, a digital monocrystalline silicon resonant differential pressure/pressure transmitter was developed. Yokogawa Electric is one of the earliest foreign-funded enterprises in the industry to enter China. It began commercial activities in China in 1957. In 1985, Yokogawa established a joint venture with Xi'an Instrument Factory and established its first joint venture in China - Xiyi Yokogawa Control System Co., Ltd. In October 2002, it established a wholly-owned "Yokogawa Electric (Suzhou) Co., Ltd." in the Suzhou Singapore Industrial Park in Suzhou. The Suzhou factory has a total area of 135,000 square meters and produces flow meters, recorders, etc. In 2008, in order to expand its business in the field of industrial automation in China, Yokogawa integrated many of its related companies and established "Yokogawa Electric (China) Co., Ltd.", headquartered in Shanghai. As an overall company in China, it adapts to the diversified needs of China's industrial automation market by strengthening sales, technical support, engineering, research and development, after-sales service and other functions.
