The SICK WL8G-P2231 is a compact rectangular retro-reflective photoelectric sensor from the SICK W8G product family. Equipped with coaxial autocollimation optics and integrated polarization filter, this sensor eliminates false triggers from shiny reflective surfaces and enables reliable detection of transparent materials such as plastic films, glass bottles and transparent packaging.
Visible red LED light simplifies on-site alignment during commissioning. A 270° potentiometer adjusts sensing sensitivity, and a rotary selector enables switching between light-on and dark-on operation modes. The miniature ABS housing saves installation space inside machinery. This unit adopts M8 4-pin male quick connector and incorporates comprehensive circuit protection. Standard delivery includes stainless steel mounting bracket and P250F reflector.
