A stable external potential is applied to the stainless steel contact surface exposed to acid media, triggering the formation of a firm, dense passivation coating on the metal surface. This protective barrier isolates the base metal from acidic corrosives, limiting the annual corrosion rate to just 0.01-0.03 mm—a dramatic improvement over conventional unprotected cooling devices.
Design & Operation
Featuring an integral fully welded compact structure, the cooler employs a scientific dual-side flow layout: concentrated acid flows through the shell side while cooling water runs through the tube side. While ensuring reliable anti-corrosion performance, internal tube bundle cooling water circulates continuously to complete efficient heat dissipation, rapidly lowering high acid temperatures to meet industrial production standards.
Equipped with high-accuracy intelligent monitoring electrodes, the unit dynamically adjusts polarization parameters in real time. This adaptive adjustment ensures sustained and stable anti-corrosion protection even under unstable working conditions with varying medium temperature and concentration.
