Structural Composition
Surface Slat Layer: The regularly patterned convex-concave grille design not only creates a visual focal point but also serves as the first line of defense in acoustic treatment.
Sound-Absorbing Substrate Layer: Precisely calculated gaps exist between the high-density slats, allowing sound to enter the internal cavity through these gaps.
Backing Treatment (Optional): Sound-absorbing non-woven fabric or acoustic cotton can be laminated as needed to enhance the absorption of mid-to-high frequency sounds.
Mounting Frame Layer: Connected to the base frame via concealed clips, forming an air resonance cavity behind the slats.
3. Working Principle
When sound waves come into contact with the surface of the board, part of them are reflected and diffused by the strips, while the rest enters the cavity behind the board through the gaps in the grille. The sound waves reflect and collide back and forth within the cavity, gradually dissipating and attenuating their energy, thus achieving sound absorption and noise reduction. This structure has excellent absorption capabilities for mid-to-high frequency noise and can also effectively improve the reverberation time of a space. 4.
