DOWSIL™ 7091 is a high-performance neutral-cure silicone adhesive/sealant. This one-part formula cures at room temperature upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. With a non-sag paste consistency, it is easy to apply and cures into a tough, flexible rubber, ideal for bonding and sealing diverse substrates.
Product Introduction
DOWSIL™ 7091 utilizes an alkoxy cure system, enabling deep curing without external catalysts. It exhibits excellent adhesion to metals (e.g., painted steel, aluminum), ceramics, glass, and engineered plastics (e.g., ABS, polycarbonate), certified to railway standard EN 45545-2 (HL1-HL3). The cured material remains stable and flexible from -40°C to 180°C (-40°F to 356°F).

DOWSIL™ 7091 is designed for demanding applications requiring flexible bonds, such as glass-to-metal/plastic bonding, automotive FIPG gasketing, and railway interior assembly. It is also used in electronics for moisture sealing (performance validation required).
