The gimbal area is sealed by a heavy-wall neoprene boot rated to IP67, protecting the internal sensing matrix from dust, rain and high-pressure cleaning. For machines fitted with diesel engines, the low-impedance matte-tin plated pins resist fretting corrosion caused by continuous low-frequency vibration.
