Product Description

Introduce thermal control to your lubrication process with our Thermal-Adaptive Valve. This advanced valve contains a micro-encapsulated Phase Change Material (PCM) in its nozzle assembly. This PCM can be formulated to either absorb heat to slightly cool a lubricant being dispensed in a high-temperature environment, or to release stored heat to slightly warm a viscous lubricant in cold conditions. This subtle temperature regulation, occurring at the point of dispensing, can significantly improve the performance and flow characteristics of the lubricant or penetrant.

Cooling can prevent a thin lubricant from becoming too runny on a hot engine, while warming can help a thick gel penetrate deeper into a cold, seized bearing. This valve provides a critical performance edge in applications where ambient temperature extremes compromise the ideal viscosity of the product.
