The thickness for gloss BOPP thermal laminating film is usually in 12micron, 15micron, 18micron, and it is coated with hot melt EVA adhesion, which supports the BOPP base film laminating on prints. We coat different thickness of EVA adhesion upon customer requirement, for example, we coat 10micron of EVA adhesion on 15micron gloss lamination film, which makes the final product in 25micron.
High gloss laminating film will impart an excellent glossy finish to the substrate after laminating with the film. It will protect the substrate from water, moistures and enhance the touch experience, which gives a long shelf life for the prints.
What is Gloss Laminating Film?
Gloss laminating film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines. It consists of two layers. One is plastic film, of which mainly is BOPP or PET film, another layer is adhesive glue of EVA. Gloss laminating film is also called dry, hot or heat laminating film.
Where is Gloss Laminating Film Used?
Generally, printing houses use BOPP gloss laminating Film rolls for commercial and school printings. It can also be used for graphic arts large format. The transparent film lamination, bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull, is heated as protection on the paper cover. Sometimes people call it as paper lamination film used by heating EVA adhesive glue into paper substrates.
