Dry Matte Lamination Film consists of matte base film and EVA glue, available in two base film types: BOPP film and PET film. To save costs, many customers choose BOPP Dry Matte Lamination Film as it provides more square meters per kilogram at the same thickness.
AfterPrinting offers BOPP matte lamination film in both normal and premium quality. BOPP thermal lamination film is available in thicknesses from 15micron to 32micron, with base BOPP film available in 12micron, 15micron, and 18micron. Customized compositions for BOPP thermal laminating film are available upon request.

Thermal lamination film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines and consists of two layers: a plastic film (primarily BOPP or PET film) and an adhesive glue layer of EVA. Also known as dry, hot, or heat lamination film.
BOPP Thermal Lamination Film rolls are widely used in commercial and school printing operations, as well as graphic arts large format applications. The transparent film lamination, available in bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull finishes, is heated to provide protection on paper covers. Commonly referred to as paper lamination film using heated EVA adhesive glue on paper substrates.
Specific Applications:
The lamination process joins two or more layers to protect prints. You need a hot laminator (thermal/heat/dry lamination roller machine) to use Thermal Lamination Film by melting its EVA adhesive onto paper surfaces. The film passes over a heated roller and, under reasonable pressure, adheres to the paper. This easy process can be done at home for small applications.
