Thermal lamination film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines. It consists of two layers: one plastic film (primarily BOPP or PET film) and another layer of EVA adhesive glue.
Thermal Lamination Film is also called dry, hot, or heat lamination film.
Printing houses typically use BOPP Thermal Lamination Film rolls for commercial and school printings. It can also be used for graphic arts large format applications.
The transparent film lamination, available in bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull finishes, is heated as protection on paper covers. Sometimes referred to as paper lamination film using heated EVA adhesive glue on paper substrates.

Lamination process involves joining two or more layers to protect prints. A hot laminator (thermal/heat/dry lamination roller machine) is required to use Thermal Lamination Film by melting its EVA adhesive onto paper surfaces.
