Dongfeng D9 10–12 m³ Rear-Loader Garbage Compactor Truck

1. Chassis Configuration

The vehicle is built on a Dongfeng Dolika D9 chassis with a rear-mounted garbage compactor body.

The chassis is equipped with a 2,315 mm wide one-and-a-half-row cab, with wheelbase options ranging from 3,950 to 4,500 mm. The standard engine is a Dongfeng CMS 180 HP 6-cylinder diesel engine, with a Yuchai 200 HP engine available as an option.

The chassis complies with China National VI emission standards and is equipped with a 4.5-ton front axle and 10-ton rear axle. Other standard equipment includes:

The complete compactor body consists mainly of:

The loading mechanism consists of brackets, connecting mechanisms, hooks and other components. Driven by the hydraulic system, the loading mechanism lifts and rotates the garbage bin into the hopper.

The garbage is then compressed through the scraping plate and sliding plate mechanism and pushed into the compactor body.

When the truck arrives at the waste disposal site, the rear discharge plate is hydraulically lifted and the compressed garbage is pushed out of the container, completing the discharge operation.

3. Rear Loading / Bin-Lifting Mechanism Options

The manufacturer provides several rear loading mechanism configurations:

1. 240 L or 660 L standard plastic garbage-bin lifting mechanism
2. Hook-type garbage-bin lifting mechanism
3. Swing-arm lifting mechanism, suitable for garbage containers with a capacity of approximately 1.2 m³
4. Flip-bucket / hopper-type lifting mechanism, which facilitates tipping and spreading of loose household waste
5. Fully sealed garbage-bin lifting mechanism
