Aerospace shops, aviation tooling suppliers and maintenance operations rely on overhead cranes, but crane rails cover a fixed area. This 12 inch Mecanum wheel platform, rated at 3,000 kg total load, is specified for that intermediate role. It carries tooling between storage, machining cells, metrology rooms and assembly stations, and it positions loads with in-place rotation and lateral travel so that a fixture can be aligned to a datum instead of being manoeuvred into place.

Aerospace projects usually specify the deck to the customer's fixture drawing rather than taking a standard plate, and documentation, traceability of drive components and acceptance test records are commonly part of the package.
