This is a drive integrated mecanum wheel: a 48V brushless hub motor, planetary reducer, encoder and wheel body are assembled into one unit. Chassis designers can mount it directly to the frame without a separate gearbox, coupling or motor bracket, which shortens the drivetrain and frees space for batteries and payload.
With four hub motor mecanum wheels driven independently, the platform can move forward, backward, sideways, diagonally and rotate in place. No steering axle is required, so the chassis can dock laterally in narrow aisles.
Voltage (24V, 48V), rated power, reduction ratio, encoder resolution, communication protocol (CAN, RS485, Modbus) and wheel diameter can be customized. OEM and ODM projects are supported with drawing based development.
Q: Is a separate motor driver needed?
A: Yes. The wheel integrates the motor and encoder; a compatible BLDC servo driver is required and we can supply a matched driver on request.
Q: Can the wheel hold a vertical load when stopped?
A: The planetary reducer provides holding torque. For slope parking, enable the brake function in the driver or add a mechanical brake.
Q: What is the lead time?
A: 20-25 working days after deposit for standard voltage and ratio, 30 days for customized protocols.
