Description:
The Remote Laser Methane Leak detector use Tunable Diode Laser Technology to provide low maintenance, easy-to-use, detection of methane from a safe distance, with a sensitivity to methane of 5ppm per metre. An operator can stand in a single location and, scan for fugitive surface and penetration emission indications, using a lightweight, intrinsically safe, self-calibrating hand-held laser gas device instrument.
The remote laser gas detector range offers a 0.1 second response to detected methane, over an expected 10-year instrument life. User settable audible alerts allow an operator to quickly scan for methane over a wide area, without having to use a reflector. From gas compression to biogas, fast leak detection means improved safety and environmental impact and increased profitability through reduction of gas loss and tighter management of infrastructure maintenance.
The remote laser gas detector has the longest detection range on the market and, with Bluetooth connection to mobile software, is ideal for recording GPS-linked readings along with notes and photos of monitored components and locations.
