L20 Long-Range TDLAS Methane Detector for Building and Pipeline Inspection
Product Introduction
The AiLF L20 is a long-range TDLAS laser methane detector designed for non-contact inspection of natural gas pipelines, buildings, and other hard-to-access areas. It enables operators to detect methane remotely while viewing concentration changes directly on the device, making it suitable for rapid field surveys and leak verification.
Multiple Scanning Modes for Different Inspection Tasks
The L20 provides four scanning modes: High Sensitivity, Building, Pipeline, and Auto. These dedicated modes allow operators to adapt the inspection process to different targets and environments, from building surveys to pipeline leak inspection and automated scanning.
Long-Range Targeted Detection
The L20 supports remote methane measurement from a distance, helping operators inspect potential leak points without direct contact with the target. A green dot sight assists with precise target aiming, including outdoor inspection in daylight, while configurable visual and audible alarms provide immediate notification of abnormal methane signals.
Fast Field Inspection
With a 0.1-second response time and a large LCD display, the L20 provides quick access to methane measurement results during field work. Its remote, non-contact detection method is suitable for areas that are difficult or inconvenient to access directly.
Digital Inspection and Documentation
The L20 supports connection to mobile inspection software through Bluetooth, allowing measurement results to be associated with inspection locations, notes, and photos. This helps operators organize field records and support follow-up leak management.

The L20 is designed for natural gas pipeline inspection, city gas building surveys, gas infrastructure inspection, oil & gas facilities, industrial safety checks, landfill methane monitoring, and other environmental inspection applications.
