Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS):
Remote Laser Methane Leak Detectors operate on the principle of Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy. They are equipped with a laser light source that emits a beam of light at a certain wavelength. When the beam of light encounters a combustible gas molecule, the molecule absorbs the light at a specific frequency, causing the laser beam to lose some of its power.
