Product Overview
The AiLF G10E is an ATEX-rated portable TDLAS gas detector designed for real-time measurement of methane (CH₄) and ethane (C₂H₆). Using laser absorption spectroscopy, the G10E provides fast concentration measurement and helps operators detect gas leaks and identify whether a suspected leak is associated with natural gas. By comparing methane and ethane measurements, users can evaluate gas composition and support more accurate leak identification.
Dual-Gas Detection for Natural Gas Identification
The G10E detects both methane and ethane, making it suitable for natural gas leak inspection where gas composition is important. Ethane measurement has a 5 ppm static detection limit, while methane measurement supports a 1% vol static detection limit. The measured gas concentrations can be used together to assess the methane-to-ethane proportion and help distinguish natural gas-related leaks from other gas sources.
Portable Real-Time Gas Measurement
Designed for field use, the G10E weighs 1.2 kg and operates for more than 10 hours on a lithium battery. With a 0.1 s response time and direct concentration display in ppm, operators can quickly obtain measurement results during pipeline, facility, and industrial inspections.
ATEX-Rated Design for Industrial Environments
The G10E features an ATEX Exib IIC T4 Gb explosion-protection rating and IP66 enclosure protection, providing a compact portable solution for gas detection applications in industrial environments where explosion protection is required. The operating temperature range is -20 to 50 °C, with humidity below 98% RH, non-condensing.
