Product Introduction
The AiLF P20 is an open-path TDLAS laser methane monitoring system designed for continuous gas leak detection in hazardous and industrial environments. It combines laser methane detection, pan-tilt scanning, leak point identification, inspection route management, data recording, and network communication in one integrated system. With a detection distance of up to 150 m, the P20 enables remote monitoring of natural gas infrastructure and other fixed industrial areas without requiring operators to remain at the detection point.
Continuous Pan-Tilt Scanning
The integrated pan-tilt mechanism provides 360° azimuth and ±90° elevation control, allowing the P20 to scan multiple directions or predefined inspection routes. This enables one monitoring unit to cover multiple potential leak areas and supports continuous automated methane surveillance.
Independent On-Site Monitoring
The P20 can continue performing on-site methane leak monitoring even when the backend system is temporarily offline. Alarm and breakpoint data can be stored locally and synchronized after network communication is restored, supporting continuous field operation and reducing dependence on real-time backend connectivity.
TDLAS Laser Methane Detection
The P20 uses TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) to selectively detect methane. The laser emits light at a specific wavelength absorbed by methane, while the detector measures the resulting change in light intensity to determine methane concentration. This enables remote and selective methane measurement with a 3 ppm·m resolution and 0.05 s response time.
Designed for Hazardous Outdoor Environments
The P20 features an ATEX Exib 11B T4 Gb explosion-protected design, Class I eye-safe detection laser, and IP68 enclosure protection. Its stainless-steel housing and operating temperature range of -40 to 70 °C support long-term deployment in demanding outdoor industrial environments.
Low-Power Industrial Monitoring and Integration
With power consumption of only 20 W and a weight of 5.5 kg, the P20 is designed for compact fixed installations and easier maintenance. It supports Modbus and OPC communication, while solar power and remote network connectivity can be incorporated for long-term monitoring applications.
