The ZA series Roots blower is a type of positive displacement blower, characterized by its unique working principle and structural features. The Roots blower relies on the change in working chamber volume formed by the rotation of two identical involute "8" shaped rotors to transport gas. This working principle is similar to that of a gear pump, where each rotor is equivalent to a gear with two teeth.
Structurally, the two rotor axes of the Roots blower are parallel to each other, and there are small gaps between the impeller in the rotor, the impeller and the casing, and the impeller and the wall panel to avoid contact. The intake and exhaust chambers are isolated from each other. By using two rotors to rotate in reverse, the gas inside the body is sent from the intake chamber to the exhaust chamber, achieving the effect of blowing air. Due to the small gaps between impellers, between impellers and shells, and between impellers and wall panels, there is no need to inject lubricating oil into the cylinder during operation, nor is there a need for auxiliary equipment such as oil and gas separators.
