The JKD-517 is a standalone photoelectric smoke alarm developed for residential fire detection. It uses an optical sensing chamber to detect smoke particles generated during the early stages of many household fires, providing an audible warning when smoke reaches the specified alarm threshold.
Powered by two replaceable 1.5V AA batteries, the detector operates independently without requiring mains power, wireless communication or a mobile application. It is suitable for new residential installations, renovation projects and replacement programs where a standalone smoke alarm is required.
