The JKD-517 is a standalone smoke alarm designed for residential fire detection. Operating independently without mains power, Wi-Fi or smart home connectivity, it provides continuous smoke monitoring using a photoelectric sensing chamber and an integrated audible alarm.
Powered by two replaceable 1.5V AA batteries, the detector continues to operate even during power outages, making it suitable for homes, apartments, holiday properties and residential renovation projects. When smoke reaches the specified alarm threshold of 0.25dB/m, the detector activates an alarm of at least 85dB at 3 metres.
