Stellite/Stellite alloy is a kind of cobalt-based superalloy. Unlike many other materials that sacrifice toughness to improve wear resistance and corrosion resistance, Stellite series alloys have both, with excellent wear resistance, heat resistance Hardness, corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties are the materials of choice for many harsh and severe wear applications.
Extrusion die is to put the metal blank into the die cavity, under the action of strong pressure and a certain speed, force the metal out of the die cavity, so as to obtain the product with the required shape, size and certain mechanical properties. Application areas:
For the selection of materials of different grades, in general, the higher the hardness of Stellite alloy, the more brittle it is. Stellite alloys with lower hardness (such as Stellite 6, Stellite 12) are suitable for extruding larger size copper bars, profiled materials, or brass, aluminum for aviation, etc. Stellite alloys with higher hardness (such as Stellite 3, Stellite 20) are suitable for extruded copper wires, round bars, small-size copper bars, profiled materials, etc.
Compared with the cast Stellite on the market, the Stellite alloy extrusion die produced by powder metallurgy has the following advantages:
