SuperDuplex 1.4501 - UNS S32760 - F51 is a corrosion resistant austenitic-ferritic SuperDuplex steel for applications where conventional Duplex grades do not meet the corrosion requirements. 1.4501 - UNS S32760 - F51 is characterised by very good resistance in chloride containing media. As a result of its higher Chromium and Molybdenum content, 1.4501 - UNS S32760 - F51 reached Pren contents between 38-46. In comparison with austenitic materials 1.4501 - UNS S32760 - F51 shows a nearly doubling the 0.2% yield strength. In addition, this material with appropriate heat treatment in the temperature range to 40deg C characterized by a moderate impact energy.
