What is 347 H?
Stainless Steel 347H Welded Pipes has to be water quenched and annealed to obtain maximum hardness. However forging, upsetting and other hot work processes can be performed at 1149 to 1232 Degree C (2100 to 2250 Degree F). SS 347H Welded Tubes has superior general corrosion resistance over Type 321 due to stabilization with columbium. Due unique properties, Stainless Steel 347H Tubing is used in a variety of application in many of today’s critical industries: Boiler tubes and casings, Oil and gas refinery piping, Radiant superheaters, High-pressure steam pipes, Heat exchanger tubes, Cabin heaters, Heavy wall-welded equipment, Aircraft exhaust stacks and collector rings, and more.
