Nickel-chromium 1560 (Cr15Ni60) is a classic high-temperature electrical heating alloy in the nickel-chromium series. Its core advantages include high resistivity, high-temperature stability, good oxidation resistance, and non-magnetic properties. In the form of flat wire, it is mainly used in scenarios such as planar/strip heating elements, industrial furnaces, and home appliance heating bodies.

 

1. Chemical composition (mass fraction) Ni: 58%–61% (providing high-temperature stability, corrosion resistance, and austenitic matrix) Cr: 14%–16% (forming a dense Cr₂O₃ protective film, enhancing high-temperature oxidation resistance) Fe: balance (≤8%), C≤0.1%, Si≤1.0%, Mn≤0.5%

 

2. Key physical/electrical properties

Density: 8.2 g/cm³

Melting point: 1380–1450℃

Resistivity (20℃): 1.04–1.12 μΩ・m (high resistivity, suitable for heat generation)

Maximum long-term use temperature: 1100–1200℃ (in air/neutral atmosphere)

Thermal expansion coefficient: approximately 12.4×10⁻⁶/℃ (20–1000℃)

Thermal conductivity: approximately 12–13 W/(m・K) (20℃)
