Marble ACPs are a type of cladding panel consisting of:

Two Thin Aluminum Sheets: Typically 0.2mm to 0.5mm thick, coated with a durable PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) or FEVE paint.

A Marble-Veneer Layer: This is not solid stone. It is either:

A Thin Slice of Real Marble (0.5-1mm): Bonded to a carrier material.

A High-Fidelity Photographic Print (on a PE core): A digital image of marble laminated under a clear protective film. This is the most common and affordable type.

A Core Material: Usually polyethylene (PE) or a fire-resistant mineral core (like FR, A2).

The layers are bonded together under high pressure and temperature in a continuous process.

Impact Resistance: While durable, the aluminum skin can dent upon severe impact.  Real marble can chip or crack.

Quality Variation: The quality of the print, the protective coating, and the adhesives used can vary greatly between manufacturers.  Opt for reputable suppliers.

Long-Term Fading: While UV-resistant, lower-quality printed panels may experience some fading over decades of direct sun exposure.  High-quality PVDF-coated panels offer superior color retention.
