ALUDONG PE aluminum composite panel consists of two layers of aluminum skin sandwiching a PE core, manufactured using a continuous extrusion process. PE coating offers excellent adhesion to the substrate. Color-coated steel plates with PE coating are easy to process, cost-effective, and available in a wide range of options, with great flexibility in color and gloss selection. Under normal outdoor exposure conditions, the corrosion resistance service life can reach 7 to 8 years.
For solid and metallic colors, the gloss level is typically 30%–40% on the Gardner scale, making them ideal for architectural applications. For special effect colors, the gloss level ranges from 70%–80% on the Gardner scale. Due to their high gloss finish, panels in special effect colors require extra care during design, fabrication, and installation.
