The snap-lock system averaged 3.4 seconds per connection: reach (0.9s), position (0.7s—reduced because the self-guiding jaw eliminates alignment correction), single-motion push (0.5s—the audible click replaces both hammer drive and separate verification), automatic visual indicator check (0.5s), and transition (0.8s). The elimination of the 1.8-second alignment correction step and the combination of drive-and-verify into a single 0.5-second motion account for 85% of the total time savings. Across 48 connection points in an 8-meter tower, these per-connection savings accumulate to the documented 65% assembly time reduction.
