Properties:
Powerful interatomic bonds endows zirconia ceramics not only with high hardness and wear resistance, but also a resistance to corrosion. Since they also tolerate high temperature, zirconia ceramics, they have obtained a permanent place in food and beverage industry, which meet their exacting requirements.

In addition to its good properties of elasticity module and high hardness, it produces no non-toxic materials when working. So USDA approves it for contact with food products. In food and beverage industries, big molecule is pulverized into smaller ones by homogenizer, in which installed zirconia rings, zirconia rod/plug, zirconia seat. Under the conditions of high-pressure and high-speed, zirconia parts work long time without few changes. If price is not concerned, yttria-stabilized zirconia is a better material option than alumina ceramics
