Aluminium pipe is usually shipped in bundles or coils, depending on the length of the pipe and the size of the order. The bundles or coils are wrapped in plastic and placed in cardboard boxes for protection during transit. They are then secured with strapping tape to ensure they stay secure during transit. For larger shipments, the bundles or coils can be placed on wooden skids and strapped down with metal bands for extra security.
If the pipes are being shipped overseas, they are typically loaded onto cargo ships or container ships. The pipes are then secured inside the ship’s cargo hold with special cargo straps to prevent them from shifting during the journey. Once they arrive at their destination, the pipes are unloaded and transported to the site where they are to be used.
