Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) is a composite conductor widely used in high-voltage and ultra-high voltage transmission lines. Its name directly reveals its intricate structure: the interior consists of single or multiple high-strength galvanized steel wires, forming the "skeleton" of the conductor and providing the main mechanical support; Externally, multiple strands of aluminum wire with excellent conductivity are twisted together, serving as the "blood vessels" of the wire and undertaking the main task of current transmission. Pay attention to the following steps during installation:

1. Tension control: It is recommended to control the tension at 20% -30% of the rated value to avoid excessive stretching.
2. Sag adjustment: Adjust the sag according to the ambient temperature, generally within the range of 1% -3% span.
3. Connection processing: Use specialized crimping tools, and the recommended crimping pressure is 20-30MPa.
