Custom Lost Foam Mold Manufacturer – EPS, EPO, EPE, ETPU & EPP Foam Mould Supplier for Casting Patterns

Engineered for the lost foam casting route, this custom mold is built from aluminum alloy and designed to produce expendable foam patterns for metal casting. It can be configured for EPS as well as other expandable foam materials such as EPO, EPE, ETPU, and EPP, depending on the pattern requirements of the casting program. The tool incorporates steam and cooling passages, venting, and ejection features to support uniform bead fusion and clean pattern release. Each mold is machined to customer drawings and can be supplied in single or multi-cavity layouts. The molded foam pattern is later coated with refractory material, embedded in sand, and replaced by molten metal during pouring.

Mould Features

• Broad Foam Material Compatibility – The mold can be set up for EPS, EPO, EPE, ETPU, or EPP, giving flexibility in pattern density, surface behavior, and downstream casting performance.

• Aluminum Alloy Tool Construction – The mold body is machined from aluminum alloy, which offers rapid thermal response during steam heating and cooling, resists moisture in foam molding service, and keeps tool weight manageable.

• Integrated Steam and Cooling Circuits – Internal passages are arranged to deliver steam for bead expansion and water for cooling, helping maintain consistent foam pattern density and dimensions.

• Venting and Ejection Design – Vent paths and ejector provisions are incorporated to promote complete cavity fill and allow clean removal of fragile foam patterns without damage.

• Custom and Modular Cavity Layout – The tool can be built with single or multiple cavities, using replaceable inserts and split-block construction to simplify maintenance and future geometry changes.

6. We Have (TEF10N) coating on the mould surface, it can reduce the friction, anti water/static electricity/acid-base/high-temperature, with this we can ensure the pattern has smooth surface without distrotion, and easy to demould;
7. All the screws we using stainless steel screw, easy to disassemble during maintenance;
8. For the big mould chest, we using 18-20mm thick wrought aluminium plate, to offer high strenght cavity ;
9. For the complex mould which is difficult to demould, we can manufacture the automaitc mould with take out device ;
10. We produce the pattern sample to customer after finish the mould, when the pattern was qualified, then we do exceptance job for the mould ;
11. We have the Hexagon coordinate measuring instrument imported from the Switzerland to have a test make sure our mould qualified.
