PE Coatings: Based on high-molecular-weight linear polyester resins with uniformly dispersed pigments. The resulting film is flexible and elastic, withstanding 0T bending without cracking. Features moderate crosslink density for strong adhesion to aluminum substrates while allowing for secondary processing like stamping, rolling, and shallow drawing without edge powdering.
PE's high surface tension enables direct UV printing, screen printing, or lamination. Produces fine patterns with excellent color fastness, ideal for applications requiring frequent exterior changes like signage and appliance panels.
PVDF Coatings: Composed of over 70% polyvinylidene fluoride resin. Features high fluorine-carbon bond energy, stable molecular chains, and wide UV absorption band. Color difference (ΔE) after ten years of outdoor exposure is ≤1.5.
PVDF has extremely low surface energy, resists dust adhesion, and self-cleans with rainwater, reducing maintenance needs. Suitable for high latitudes and areas with large temperature swings. Can be layered with clear varnish to enhance metal particle effects, meeting quality and longevity requirements for high-end curtain walls, airports, and high-speed rail stations.
1000 Series: Contains ≥99% aluminum with coarse grains and excellent ductility (elongation up to 30%), suitable for deep drawing, spinning, and laser welding. High electrical and thermal conductivity makes it ideal for electromagnetic shielding or heat dissipation substrates. Low impurity content ensures uniform color after anodizing. Density of 2.71 g/cm³ makes it 65% lighter than steel.
3000 Series: Aluminum-manganese alloys with yield strength increase of 50-70 MPa through solid solution and dispersion strengthening, offering superior dent resistance. Excellent weldability and deep drawability, processable into corrugated panels, gusset panels, and cassette honeycomb panels. Widely used in roofing, interiors, and cold chain vehicles. Better balance between strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance than 1000 series, suitable for mid- to high-end projects requiring long-term load bearing or exposure.
