PVDF coated aluminum coil is specially processed through the technics of roller coating and baking with precise paints from BECKER INDUSTRIAL COATINGS in Sweden and THE VALSPAR CORPORATION in the USA. The main material of PVDF is polyvinylidene fluoride resin; the utmost negative characteristic of the Fl atom can form a very strong high powerful Fl-C bond. Moreover, with the special symmetry molecule structure, the products are of strong weather resistance performance, anti-ultraviolet performance, super long durability, and anti-corrosion performance, which can maintain a very bright and glossy color even serving for 20 years in the indoor environment. Attributing to the abrasion resistance and impact resistance and flexibility, pre painted aluminum coil suppliers are of excellent mechanical processing performance.
PVDF Color Coated Painted Aluminum Coil Advantages
The fluorocarbon or PVDF paint used for our PVDF coated aluminum coil is made out of fluorocarbon resin, pigment, and additives. Today it is one of the paints that provide the best performance. The PVDF paint is far superior to common paints in terms of weather resistance, salt tolerance, washability, non-adhesiveness, and more, and is known as the "King of Paint".
The PVDF paint provides good corrosion resisting property, which results from its great chemical inertness. Resistant to chemical substances like acids, bases, salts, and various chemical solvents, the paint film serves as a protective barrier for our PVDF-coated aluminum coil. The protective paint film has high surface hardness, high yield strength, impact and wears resistance, as well as excellent physical and mechanical performance.
The paint is maintenance free and has self-cleaning capability. With low surface energy, good hydrophobic property (water absorption<5%), oil resistance, and low friction coefficient within 0.15-0.17, the PVDF coating is extremely staining repellent.
The PVDF paint offers strong adhesion to the aluminum surfaces.
