General Information of Seaweed Oligosaccharide
Seaweed Oligosaccharide is water-soluble powders primarily derived from Ascophyllum nodosum. This product utilizes internationally advanced secondary low-temperature directional enzymatic hydrolysis technology, membrane filtration, and natural preservatives to extract natural active substances that can be directly absorbed and utilized by seaweed and crops. These substances include small molecule active oligosaccharides (≤2000 Da), natural free amino acids, phenolic polymers, mannitol, betaine, vitamins, natural minerals, and natural plant growth regulators. Seaweed oligosaccharides are globally recognized as an ideal core ingredient for pollution-free, green, and organic foods.

Benifits of Seaweed Oligosaccharide
Field trials of seaweed polysaccharide fertilizers showed that topdressing with seaweed compound fertilizers increased total nitrogen uptake by rice grains and straw by 11.0%. Both topdressing and applying compound fertilizers reduced soil pH and increased soil organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, and available potassium.
Small-scale and large-scale trials across different regions and varieties have shown that applying G-Teck high-end seaweed fertilizer to rice accelerates growth, increases plant height, and improves yield.
Compared to the control, G-Teck treatments increased yield by over 6.7% at all test sites, with a maximum increase of 13.5% and an average increase of 9.0%.
Main Benefites of Seaweed Oligosaccharide
Seaweed oligosaccharides are carbohydrates composed of 10 or more monosaccharide molecules. Like algin, fucoidan, and seaweed starch extracted from seaweed, they are highly complex macromolecules.
The main active substance in seaweed is a natural soil conditioner that increases soil permeability, promotes the formation of soil cohesion, enhances soil biomass, and promotes nutrient release and utilization. It can also enhance crop immunity and effectively improve crop quality. It can also enhance plant photosynthesis, improve drought resistance, and increase fertilizer utilization. Seaweed polyphenols can prevent bacterial and viral invasion and enhance plant resistance to cold and drought. They also have a chelating effect.
Application of Seaweed Oligosaccharide
Seaweed extract can be applied as a foliar spray or irrigation to provide nutritional support for a wide variety of crops, including conventional, organic, and turf crops. Long-term use is recommended because it provides a stable source of nutrients for plants and soil microorganisms. It also helps the soil retain air and water longer.
This product does not affect calcium absorption, making it safer for use in low-calcium soils. It penetrates plant pores, ensuring rapid nutrient uptake even with foliar application.
