Xylo-oligosaccharides have a special β-1, 4 glycosidic bond, which will not be decomposed by animal endogenous enzymes after entering the intestine, nor will it be used by harmful microorganisms in the animal intestine, and can directly reach the end of the small intestine and the large intestine, selectively proliferate intestinal probiotics (such as bifidobacteria, lactic acid bacteria), Bifidobacteria use xylo-oligosaccharides to proliferate rapidly, 24h can increase about 10 times, at the same time, xylo-oligosaccharides are metabolized by probiotics to produce organic acids, which can reduce intestinal pH, inhibit pathogenic bacterial colonization, promote the proliferation of beneficial bacteria, and promote mineral absorption. It can also affect the integrity of intestinal epithelial cells and hormone secretion, which is of great significance in improving animal growth performance, regulating intestinal flora balance, enhancing immunity and regulating blood lipids.
